My name is Sergio, a firefighter, a husband, a father, and the owner of this little catering business that was built from the ground up with a lot of hard work, sacrifice, and faith.
Lately, life has been a reminder that no matter how hard you work or how well you plan, some things are simply out of your control.
There are seasons when it feels like challenge after challenge keeps showing up. Family health concerns. Unexpected obstacles. Stress that follows you home. The kind of stuff that keeps you up at night and weighs on your mind long after the day is over.
In those moments, it can feel like the storm will never pass.
But if life has taught me anything, it’s that tough times don’t last forever. The valleys feel long when you’re standing in them, but eventually you find your way back to higher ground.
I’m a firm believer that if you lead with kindness, work hard, help others when you can, and keep putting good into the world, things have a way of working themselves out. Not always how you expected. Not always on your timeline. But eventually.
So right now, I’m focusing on the little wins.
A healthy morning with my family.
A laugh from one of my kids.
A good shift at work.
A successful event.
A problem that gets a little closer to being solved.
Those little wins may not seem like much in the moment, but they add up.
If you’re going through a difficult season, keep fighting. Keep working. Keep showing up. Keep believing that better days are ahead.
One day you’ll look back and realize that the moments that tested you the most were also the moments that made you stronger.
