🌵❤️ Our First Bible Fellowship at Charros' Theater ❤️🌵
We are so excited to finally invite you to our first-ever Bible Fellowship at Charros' Theater!
📅 Monday, August 17th, 2026
⏰ 6:00 PM
📍 Charros' Theater — Private Room
We will have fresh coffee for everyone, and we're doing our best to have some delicious Mexican pastries for you to enjoy! 🇲🇽☕🥐
Worst case scenario… we'll still have pastries! They just might not be Mexican. 😄
❤️ What Is This Fellowship About?
Our hope is to create a beginner-friendly, lighthearted, and welcoming space where we can come together, learn from God's Word, share His love, and build a stronger community.
We know that everyone is in a different place in life and on their own journey. This fellowship is not meant to force anyone to think like us, change anyone's beliefs, or tell someone that their way of thinking is wrong.
Instead, we want this to be a place where we can listen, learn, ask questions, and share God's love with one another.
It's completely okay if someone sitting next to you has a different view of life than you do. ❤️ We don't always have to agree or see everything the same way to treat one another with kindness, love, and respect.
We also want to keep this first fellowship approachable for everyone. So, while we welcome deeper conversations and questions, we ask that we try not to turn our time together into debates such as:
❌ "Why is my religion better than yours?"
❌ "If you don't believe this, you're not a true follower."
❌ Trying to convince someone that their beliefs are wrong.
If you meet someone whose thoughts or perspective you really enjoy, we encourage you to continue those deeper conversations outside of the fellowship. Maybe grab coffee together, sit down for a meal, and keep learning about one another.
Building those relationships and growing together as a community is actually part of what we'll be talking about! 🌵❤️
📖 What We'll Be Talking About
For our first fellowship, we'll be touching on three main topics:
1️⃣ God's Love for Us ❤️
We'll look at:
John 3:16
Ephesians 2:4–5
2️⃣ In God's Love, We Should Build a Community 🤝
We'll look at:
1 Peter 4:8
Proverbs 27:17
3️⃣ God Calls Us to "Sin No More" ❤️
We'll look at:
John 8:10–11
We want to emphasize that God's love is for everyone. The topic of "God Calls Us to Sin No More" is not meant to suggest that God loves some people less than others. Quite the opposite—we believe God's love is at the heart of everything we're hoping to share.
We will have printed copies of the Bible verses we'll be discussing for anyone who doesn't have a Bible with them.
If you'd like to get a little head start, you're more than welcome to read the surrounding passages before coming. Sometimes reading what comes before and after a verse can help us better understand the story and context behind it.
🌵 A Place to Share God's Love
Most importantly, we want to make something very clear:
This fellowship is not about calling anyone out.
It is not about changing your opinions.
It is not about proving who is right or wrong.
Our hope is simply to share some of the love, peace, and understanding that God has given to us and create a place where people can come together and feel welcomed.
The Waterville community has shown our Charros' family so much love since we opened our doors, and we want to continue opening our hearts to you in return.
For some of us here at Charros', God is a very important part of our lives, and we would love the opportunity to share that part of ourselves with the community that has welcomed us so warmly.
Whether you are someone who has been reading the Bible for years, someone who is just beginning to explore your faith, someone who has questions, or someone who simply wants to listen and meet new people...
You are welcome here. ❤️
