Good morning all. We are now officially PERMANENTLY CLOSED 🥲
We wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for a wonderful 33 years of which I have been a part of for 23! Thank you for your patronage, loyalty, friendship and all the wonderful memories. Those of you who have supported us over the 23 I have been here are what have made this decision so unbelievably hard ❤️ You have no idea what you all mean to me and my family, and I will miss you more than you know 💔 Thank you for all of the phone calls, cards, goodbye gifts and invitations for lunches and get togethers. We are feeling the love from you all 😍
As we are here cleaning out this beautiful space we can’t help but think about all the faces we are missing. All the jokes and laughs shared. All the interesting conversations and stories we’re missing on this Monday morning! We have seen so many of you daily it is hard to stand here and not see your smiling faces and listen to the quiet.
We are sad that this chapter is ending but my family and I I are very excited about the new one that is starting 🙂 we wish you all well 🥰

Here it is… the post some you have been waiting for and some of you have been dreading! I apologize for the lengthy reading you are about to do 😉 We’re sorry for the delay, but we were waiting for the official announcement to hit the paper 1st and we simply just could not find the words 💔
Yes, we will be CLOSING the doors June 1st for the last time 🥹 we’ve had a great run but it is time for us to spread our wings. We do not want to get into details and we do not want to have a long heated discussion over why. We are open to positive discussions/comments ❤️Please be respectful of our decision no matter how hard it may be to understand. We ask you to not publicly place blame on anyone or any organizations you may feel are at fault! Be kind and courteous.
It is after much thought, many conversations and a few tears that we made what we feel is the right thing to do for our family. I have 23 wonderful years here at the cafe and have made many friends here that I will absolutely miss more than words can describe. Some of you are like family to me. Some of you have given me wonderful advice. Some of you have taught me life skills, that I can’t thank you enough for! Some of you have watched my 3 kids grow up. I will cherish every special conversation, joke and memory that I have of many of you. I have truly enjoyed hearing your life stories, watching your kids and grandchildren grow. Watching many of you take on that next journey in your life! These things can hold a price tag 🥰 All of these things are what has made this decision so hard! I want to personally thank each and every person who has ever set foot into our cafe at some point, because of you we have been around for 33 years! Most importantly I want to thank those of you who have supported me and my family every day for the 23 years I have been here and the 6 years I have owned it! You know who you are and I am so grateful for all of you ❤️ A special thank you goes out to a couple very special people/groups who have gone above and beyond for us. Bonnie for the handmade curtains and fresh flowers. Jan our personal gardener who has kept the outdoor plants alive and looking fabulous 🪴 Jean for the decorations you so beautifully placed at xmas 🤶 The “morning crew” for all your jokes and wisdom! The “tennis group” for all your encouragement, hysterical conversations and pure enthusiasm! Thurston for your beautiful art that has been there for all to enjoy! Joey for all the maintenance work that we threw at ya! Our plow guy JJ for always keeping us plowed out in those early morning storms and throughout the day!
I want to thank my husband for his willingness to take on this journey with me. My son Austin for filling in whenever I needed him and apparently offering the “best” customer service around! My youngest daughter Kelsie for also filling in and being the youngest cashier we’ve had and not afraid to harass the customers and get them riled up 🤪 (a little like her momma)
Lastly but most importantly I want to send an enormous thank you to my oldest daughter Megan! She has been at the cafe 10+ years and has been by my side every day for the 6 I’ve owned it. She’s been my right hand girl day in and day out. She does it all and then some! She goes above and beyond for me and I couldn’t have done it without her 💜
I’m sure I have forgotten someone and I’m sorry😞 but I’m sure you are all tired of reading this very long post.
So again thank you to everyone for your support. We are looking forward to a new adventure and will take all of the wonderful memories with us ❤️

Did you know it's national croissant day?! We have the best in town, cooked fresh daily. Grab one toasted with butter or get one of our delicious breakfast sandwiches on them. We can even add avocado for an extra tasty treat 😋

Wow, that was a lot of snow for 1 day! We're back open today with lots of goodies, hit coffee, cocoa and much more!
We like to send a huge shout out THANK YOU to our plow guys for doing an amazing job clearing our parking lot for you all! These guys worked a long day/night so thank you! This goes for all the road crews as well. They give up so much so we can get to where we have too and it so appreciated by many!
