BIG news for The BIG Pop-Up Vendor & Street Fair!

This Saturday's event will be the very first to utilize Watertown's new Temporary Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (TDORA)!

What does that mean? You can purchase an alcoholic beverage from any participating bar or restaurant and enjoy it while exploring the event. No need to stay inside to finish your drink—take it with you as you shop, listen to music, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy everything The BIG Pop-Up has to offer.

You'll notice the TDORA boundaries extend slightly beyond the closed streets so a few participating establishments just outside the event area can be included. If you see a business listed on the TDORA map, you're welcome to purchase your beverage there and enjoy it within the designated refreshment area.

This is the first TDORA ever approved in Watertown, so let's make it a success! Please drink responsibly and help us show that this is a great addition to future community events.

A few important reminders:
• The TDORA is in effect from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• All patrons purchasing alcohol will be required to present a valid ID and wear an official TDORA wristband.
• Alcoholic beverages must remain within the approved TDORA boundaries (see the map).
• Drinks must be served in containers with an official TDORA sticker, provided by participating establishments.
• TDORA beverages may be enjoyed throughout the event area, but they may not be taken into other businesses, including licensed bars and restaurants.
• No outside alcohol is permitted.
