We're one week out from The Shire Harvest Party! Sunday, October 18th, 5PM start. Hors d'oeuvres, hot food, themed snacks & desserts served from 5-8PM, but the fun will go as long as the party atmosphere demands!

Your ticket gets you unlimited access to multiple rounds of locally sourced, seasonal, and DELICIOUS dishes, locally roasted coffee, mulled c***r & themed beverages, all served by our charming staff. Dietary restrictions are no problem - all food will be labeled and our staff is incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating.

THIS FRIDAY starting at 6:30PM - Counterweight and The Local Sixty-Three are throwing a little Oktoberfest Takeover!

We'll have four killer Counterweight b**rs on draft, merch giveaways, b**r samples, a GORGEOUS German specials menu that will run all weekend, and at least one stein-hoist (see photos for last year's proper hoist AND the afterhours version with the late-night hooligans).

No ticket needed, but we are accepting reservations as usual! Full menu available all day as well. Come party!

It's OKTOBERFEST SEASON - and while Lauren had a blast at Counterweight this weekend, we get to have our own Counterweight Oktoberfest party next month!

Friday, October 9th - starting at 6:30 - our rep Glenn (the fellow in the video at the end of the photos) will be at The Local slinging free merch, b**r samples, and running a stien-hoisting competition!

Jason has cooked up a special German menu for the weekend, and there will be plenty of b**r and sausage to go around. No tickets needed, but make a reservation if you'd like!

WE'RE THROWING A PARTY!

Anyone who has been to our big dinner events knows we go all-out. And this October 18th at 5PM we are having a Shire Harvest Party - and we're gonna party Middle Earth style! (Scroll for just a few shots of food from parties past!)

This is a costumes encouraged, ages 15+, all- you-can-eat feast featuring multiple courses served buffet style. Pies, potatoes, cheese platters, roast meats and fish, sweet treats - with plenty of GF and vegetarian options for each course!

Tickets are LIVE on our online ordering portal on our website, or you can buy them in-house. $75 gets you in the door and access to all the food and frivolity, as well as soft drinks and themed mocktails. B**r, w**e, c***r & mead will all be available a la carte, and the place is gonna be decorated to feel like a Dwarven adventuring party may burst in at any moment.

These incredible heirloom tomatoes came to us fresh from Hungry Reaper Farm - scroll to see our Heirloom Tomato Salad - which is included in our 3-course special menu as well as the regular menu while the tomatoes last!

Third image is about 27 pounds of those beauties chopped at the perfectly ripe moment for a massive batch of tomato jam that will be featured on the menu soon.

Labor Day - We are closed Sunday, Sept 6th through Wednesday the 9th! If you want these lads to pour you drinks and bring you food, come on in tonight or tomorrow!

Sip & Savor Event - We are kicking off Watertown Restaurant Week on Thursday the 10th at this friendly competition @ Hawk Ridge, but we will also be open regular hours!

The Local Bottle Club Soju Class - a few tickets are still available for our Sunday, September 12th 4PM tasting. Multiple soju samples, Korean bar food, and a super fun, chill atmosphere. Tickets available on our website or in-house.

Counterweight Oktoberfest Takeover - Friday, October 9th @6:30. Special German menu available that whole weekend!
