Ever wonder what would happen if an entire town wrote a book together? Neither have we, but apparently we're about to find out.
This month's Passport Walk starts at WECAN, where you'll pick up a passport book and begin a literary adventure that is either going to create the next great American novel... or the world's most confusing sentence structure. Honestly, we're excited either way.
At each participating business, you'll draw a mystery word from a jar and add ONE sentence to continue the story in that store's genre. Mystery. Fantasy. Romance. Adventure. Whatever happens after that is between you, your imagination, and the random word you pulled.
One stop might have a brave knight battling a dragon. The next might involve a pizza delivery guy, a squirrel, and a mysterious taxidermied flamingo. We don't make the rules—we just provide the writing station.
By the end of the event, every participating business will have its own community-created story. Some may be inspiring. Some may be mildly concerning. All of them will be uniquely Waterford.
