At Southern Red’s BBQ (located in the old Pilot Oak Grocery building), we are not only known for our great ribs, barbecue, catfish, country cookin’ sides, cakes and pies, and a great in-house dining experience, and more – but we are often the people’s choice for catering. Having catered some 400-500 events per year; we can cater for as

many, or as few as you need to feed. We cater for weddings, factories, school, and office functions, and for whatever other event you may need to be served. We can cater on any day at anytime- just let us know what you need! Micah, Kim, Fred, Belinda, and the Southern Red’s staff look forward to meeting you -- and serving you some of the best food this side of anywhere. Okay everyone, Highway 45 at Water Valley is closed due to bridge construction.

If you are coming off the Wingo exit or down 45 from Mayfield/Pryorsburg, you will want to head down 339 to 129 and come into Pilot Oak that way.

You can also come from Mayfield down Cuba Road/303 down to 94, then towards Pilot Oak.

If you mistakenly go past the 339 turn and head on down 45, and get to the road closed signs, turn around in our lot and take the first road to the right, Bard Road. Carry on down it onto 2422. Stay on that road until you hit Wingo Road; that will lead you to 129, then onto Pilot Oak.
You can also take Bard to Lawrence Road, then 2422 back into Water Valley, then 45 to 94.
If you are coming from Fulton, you are good to go and can travel normally.
