⚠️ CLOSED UNTIL SEPT 3 ⚠️
Hey yall! 🤗❤️ We are closed to go on our very first vacation!
It’s hard to believe that after 24 years together, 9 years married, and almost 7 years in business, we’re finally taking a real vacation outside of Alaska 🥹 And honestly, this trip means a lot to us, as the past few years have been a real doozy 🥲
When we look back, it feels like we’ve spent the last several years going from one huge life chapter straight into the next. First, we got married. Then I went to college. Then we took a huge leap of faith and started this pizza shop here in Wasilla in late 2019.
Then came our precious babies, Saige in 2021 and Baby Wes in 2024 👧🏼👶 And in between all of that, there have been some really incredible moments, and some really effing hard ones, too.
We’ve worked our asses off. We’ve grown as a married couple. We’ve struggled. We’ve laughed. We’ve cried. We’ve worried about keeping the doors open when stuff went wrong with the pizza oven, fridges, and mixer. We’ve celebrated milestones. We’ve raised our babies in this shop while trying to build something we could be proud of, and you all have been right here with us through everything.
This year has especially reminded me just how short and precious life really is. Losing my mom in February of this year has honestly been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to walk through. I miss her so so much, and there are so many moments when I wish I could pick up the phone, tell her what’s going on, or have her here to share these moments with us, or just feel her hugs and hear her laugh. So, this vacation is about more than just getting away.
It’s about reflecting on our family that we’ve built, you guys included. It’s about slowing down. It’s about making memories during this short stay here on earth. It’s about spending time with my husband and remembering that before we were business owners and parents, we were just two crazy people who fell in love in middle school and decided to build a life together and stick together no matter what life throws at us 💕
We’ve spent the last 7 years pouring our hearts into this business, and we truly could not have done it without all of you. You’ve watched our family grow in this shop, supported us through the hard times, celebrated the good times with us, and kept showing up for us year after year, and we are so incredibly grateful for you.
Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to step away for a little while and enjoy the life we’ve worked so hard to build: 7 years in business, 2 kids, hella pizzas, and a whole lot of lessons learned the hard way 😂 We appreciate you and love you more than you know!
