It’s happening!!! The sun is ☀️shining, the weather is sweet! Here we are at the Grandstands at the Alaska State Fair watching everyone prepare for a Rodeo!! It’s gonna be a fantastic show! If you are wandering through the yellow trail, 👀 behind the Pirate tent which is next to “Beer Garden”. We are here with Mini-Chimi’s and El Senior Moose (tacos)
Come find us for a Mac n Cheese piled high with pork belly burnt ends or a smokehouse potato bowl loaded with chopped brisket $18

Greetings BBQ fans!
We are getting ready for a busy weekend at the Alaska State Fair! We are located behind the Watering Hole beer garden just behind the fence.
The gates are all open and because we are stashed away off the main trails our line is not very long and our wait times are 5 minutes or less. Look for El Senior Moose’s (tacos) giant waving arm guy. We are next to Mini Chimi’s and shaved ice. A perfect little get away from the crowds with easy access to Beer and Snacks. Come find us Friday, Saturday, Sunday for one of our 2024 ranchers reserves beef throw down First place winner BBQ Sundae cup!
Your choice of chopped brisket (winner), pulled pork, smoked chicken or pork belly burnt ends, layered in a 16 oz cup with Babes sauce, smokehouse beans, coleslaw and cherry tomato for $14 It’s like a BBQ picnic in a cup!

What a beautiful day here at Alaska State Fair! Warm sunny and almost no wind! The sky diving was spectacular this evening! We want to thank everyone who stop by for a BBQ snack this year. We Love you all. We are excited to be here for the next two weekends🎊We are just tucked cozy behind the Watering Hole Beer Garden next to our amazing friends El Senior Moose, Mini Chimmies & my new friend Stephanie Biz🍧Friday, Saturday, Sunday! We are just past the yellow gate trail entrance💛the direct advantage is, no long lines to wait in and a huge grassy area to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather!🥰 See you all soon!

A little known secret here at the Alaska State Fair… If your looking for 👀 a quiet place to grab a cocktail and a snack that you don’t have to wait in line for, then head to the watering hole just behind the Barn close to the Yellow gate. There we will be , along with El Senior Moose (tacos) and Mini-Chimichangas. A perfect place to get away from the crowds and try our delicious BBQ!!

It’s time for the Mac n Cheese report, brought to by Barbecue Babes!!
What an extremely awesome afternoon it has turn out to be!! Warm and sunny 🌞 by Alaskan Standards I am giving it a 8.5 on the “I just wanna be at the lake” kinda day! If you’re on your way to or from big lake ….. you can find us and Big Dogs at Curbside49 next to Fishers Fuel on Johnson Road across from the West Lakes Fire Department just off the Parks Highway. (At the traffic light) until 7pm
We currently have available
35 Mac n cheese
7 Racks of baby back ribs
28 smokehouse potato bowls (loaded/smoked chicken)
45 bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers
18 strawberry shortcake parfait

We are gearing up for a beautiful Alaskan Sunday Afternoon! 🌤️ We are heading to Curbside49 next to Fishers Fuel on Johnson Rd across from the West Lakes Fire Department on the Parks Highway heading to the Big Lake Area. Plenty of folks up
Late last night to watch the fireworks for the Houston Founders Day celebration! Sunday 8/16 from noon until 7pm.
If your in need of a Pulled pork Mac n Cheese or “Loaded” potato bowl piled with smoked chicken… stop in full up your gas tank at Fishers Fuel and grab your favorite Barbecue Babes snack for the ride home.
Today’s special is BBQ Sliders- your choice of pulled pork or smoked chicken on three Hawaiian sweet rolls with sauce and slaw. Including JennyBelles homemade sweet tea, sliced pickles or bag of chips for $16🔥🔥🔥
