...Long post alert...
**A Message from Big Al’s Place**
After a lot of thought, we have made the difficult decision to close both the Big Al’s Place food trailer and our brick-and-mortar location at the end of November 2026.
First and most importantly, if you already have a catering or special event scheduled with us, please do not worry. We will honor every event currently on our schedule. We have you covered!
It is hard to believe, but this journey started **10 years ago**. Yes, I said 10 years! We could never thank everyone enough for the support you have shown us throughout the years. Whether you visited our restaurant, ordered from us at an event, stopped by the food trailer, or remember when we served out of the bus, you have been an important part of our story.
And if you remember the little red trailer, then you have truly been with us from the very beginning!
What started as a hobby and a crazy idea turned into something much bigger than we ever imagined. We have met so many wonderful people, made lifelong friends, and created memories that we will always treasure.
To everyone who trusted us to cater a wedding, graduation, birthday, company gathering, family celebration, or other special occasion, thank you. It has been an honor to be part of your special days, and we hope we helped make those moments a little more memorable.
So, what are the plans for Big Al and Andrea?
We will continue normal operations through the end of November. After that, we will complete the remaining catering events on our schedule and ride off into the sunset…
Okay, not really. We plan to do a lot more camping—and apparently run a campaign! LOL!
Many people will probably ask what we plan to do with the building and all of the restaurant equipment. The entire business operation and its assets are currently being offered for sale as a complete package. Anyone interested can message me with an email address, and I will send the equipment list, business details, and asking price.
For anyone who has ever dreamed of owning a restaurant, this could be a great opportunity. You could purchase the equipment and business assets, lease the fully equipped turnkey space from us, and potentially be ready to operate very quickly.
To be clear, **the building itself is not for sale.**
We apologize for the long post, but we wanted everyone to hear the news directly from us. The good news is that you still have a little more time to enjoy your Big Al’s favorites! Please remember to use any outstanding gift cards before the end of November.
Thank you to every employee, musician, vendor, customer, friend, family member, and community organization that helped us along the way.
We are not sad that this chapter is closing. Instead, we are thankful for everything it gave us and excited about whatever comes next.
We had a lot of fun—or at least I did! Andrea may have a slightly different opinion, but she has been absolutely amazing and has supported another one of my crazy ideas that went much farther than either of us ever imagined.
We love and appreciate you all more than we can say.
**With sincere gratitude,
Big Al and Andrea**
