We’re finally ready to introduce some Bammaw’s House eats.

This weekend, we’ll be at the Food Truck Festival at The Meadows Casino, and we’re excited for everyone to finally try what we’ve been working on.

We also want to give a huge thank you to Exhibit Solutions, Eric, and Gina for all the hard work they put into helping get this thing ready and making sure everything came together the right way. We’re grateful for them and grateful for their company. They’ve been awesome to work with.

For this weekend’s festival, here’s the menu we’ll be serving. Everything is homemade and made from scratch, including the focaccia bread our sandwiches are served on.

We’re excited to finally get this thing off the ground.
We’re excited for you to try it.
And we’re ready to rock.

The story behind the velvet booths…

When I was a kid, we’d go to Bammaw’s — and if you were around back then, you know the vibe. Blue carpet. Blue velvet couches sitting right on top of that blue carpet. Orange carpet downstairs. Everything was funky. That was the style.

So when it came time to build Bammaw’s House, we knew we had to bring a piece of that back. Those velvet booths? They’re not just decor — they’re a tribute. A small way to honor where we came from and the woman who inspired this entire thing.

She’ll be there for the grand opening, and we can’t wait to finally share it with all of you. We’re close — really close.

Thank you for your patience, for believing in us, and for giving us the time to do this right.

This isn’t your normal “we’re hiring” post. We’re not just looking for warm bodies to clock in and clock out. We’re looking for people who actually give a damn.

We’ve got three spots — Washington Fat Angelo’s, Bammaw’s House, and Santello’s — and all three are fast-paced, high-energy, and built around real food, real people, and running things the right way.

We care about our customers, we care about our teams, and we’re not afraid of being busy. Delivery, take-out, sit-down, events, late nights — it never stops. But we also don’t run like the usual restaurant chaos. We’ve built accountability, structure, and communication into how we operate. We work to live, not live to work.

If you’re looking for just a paycheck, sure, we’ve got that. But if you want a career, we’ve got that too. We own multiple restaurants, a bakery, and a bar. We’ll teach you. We’ll push you. We’ll invest in you if you invest in us. Benefits, retirement, growth — it’s all on the table.

We need people who want to be part of something bigger. Not corporate. Not fake. Real. Busy. Raw. If this hits you and youre passionate, then you already know you belong here. Leave your ego at the door.

But here’s the difference: we don’t run on excuses. We don’t deal with call-offs, half-effort, or the usual restaurant circus. We’ve built structure, accountability, and real communication into how we operate, because that’s the only way to have freedom and balance. We need help, and we’re willing to pay for it. What we’re not willing to do is bu****it you. If you love food, if you love the energy of a place that’s always moving, and if you want to be part of a team that runs like a business instead of a mess, then you’ll fit right in.
