Anyone that uses Square Point of Sale systems and had declined or failed credit card payments on Monday 6 Feb. Either online or offline it was a technical issue at Square and they are declining to reimburse for lost credit card sales. They are only offering free processing fees up to $500 of sales. Which is about $13.50 regardless of the lost sales due to there system failure. Check your sales from 2:30pm to 4pm on the 6th. Share this messages, Square should be responsibly for reimbursement since these cards were not declined by the banks or issuer.

Saturday was our last day at Scudder & Co. Coffee. I want to thank all of you that visited us since 19 Nov. 2019 until today. It has truly been our pleasure serving your favorite coffee drinks. Thank you. I want to thank our great team of baristas: Sydney, Grace, Sam, Brittany, Cheyenne, Maddy, Lexi and Melissa. All of you have been amazing in more ways than you know. Kim and I want to thank you for all that you have done for us.

Sometimes life has plans that we are not aware of or ready for. Kim and I are experiencing that in our lives now. We have made the decision to close the coffeeshop and put it up for sale. This Saturday will be our last business day, we will close at 2pm to end our 3 years providing coffee products to the best customers and community we have been a part of. Any customer with a loyalty card that has 4 or more punches can come in this week by Saturday closing and redeem it for a free 16oz loyalty drink. Thank you for allowing us to serve you for 3 years, it has been a pleasure.
