We’re beyond honored to be named Best Service + Staff in Modern Luxury DC’s 2026 Best of the City awards 🏆

Since 1933, Martin’s Tavern has been a Georgetown tradition: four generations of the same family, the same booths that have seated presidents, senators, and neighborhood regulars alike. But none of that history means anything without the people who bring it to life every single night.

This one’s for our team: the servers, bartenders, and staff who’ve spent years (some of them close to two decades) making every guest feel like they’re part of the story too. Thank you for treating every table like it’s the most important one in the room.

And of course, thank you to Modern Luxury DC for the recognition, and to Sophie Mac Photography for capturing the spirit of this place so beautifully in these photos.
