We’re saying goodbye to summer with a special workshop and garden market led by on September 6th & 7th at our event space, 1819 Columbia Rd Nw.

Urbangreen Gardens owner Thomas Little is behind the greenery of our new restaurant opening right across the street and he is going to show us how it’s done. The two-hour workshop on Saturday Sept 6th will run from 3 to 5pm with each ticket including crafting materials, Lapis small bites, and one complimentary drink to fuel your creativity.

The Garden Market on Saturday and Sunday will include vendors featuring hand-painted candles, dried floral arrangements, potted plants, alongside Lapis merch, Afghan jewlery, and a small Lapis menu.

New wines now available at Lapis 🍷

For starters, Vina Tondonia by Lopez de Heredia. Arguably the most famed Tempranillo blend from Rioja in Spain, loaded with savory notes of to***co, leather, plum, and blood orange.

We’re also featuring the singular wines of Chateau Musar, a world-class producer out of Lebanon that produces singularly distinct expressions all their own. From Lebanon, we’ve also brought on Domaine des Tourelles which was first founded in 1868. Their old vine Cinsault is a Mediterranean treasure of savory, meaty qualities and vibrant fruit.
