Something about the endless possibilities in a fondant blank cake canvas excites the heck out of me.

If I could skip through baking, filling and crumb coating to just decorating, I’d do it in a heartbeat.

So today I’m not posting any cake reel with transitions or showcasing any design. I just want to focus on this beautifully textured blank canvas in an old school photo post.

This 3 tier wedding anniversary cake was a big one! I decided to go with sugar flowers because I wanted a solid yet soft look which I imagine 50 years of marriage would be.
