The name Bindaas means independent, cool, and carefree. Just as we intend our restaurant to be. Located in the Cleveland Park neighborhood of Washington, DC James Beard award winning Chef Vikram Sundaram wishes to create food often unavailable here in the USA and cherished in India. Street food is of great cultural importance in India, where for many years the colonization by the British Empire co

mpromised traditional Indian life and culture. Street food is still an important part of life in India helping express the cultural diversity of the country. We invite you to come and experience the vibrant smells and tastes of India. Reservations and Seating
Walk-ins are always welcome and we accept a limited number of reservations throughout the evening. Due to the size of our restaurant we are unable to accommodate parties larger than four. You are more than welcome inquire about larger reservations in our private dining room. No Show Policy: Please note that we hold reservations for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes we will seat the next waiting guest. In the event that you’re running late please phone the restaurant at (202) 244-6550. We will make our best effort to accommodate your changing needs. Parking: Street parking is available, and you are more than welcome to take advantage of the valet parking available at our sister restaurant Ardeo + Bardeo, when available.
