District Kitchen “DK”, established in 2012, is conveniently located on Connecticut Avenue in the Historic Woodley Park, just a few blocks from the National Zoo and Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro Station. DK’s mission is to highlight the Mid-Atlantic’s best naturally-raised and local ingredients and pair the creations with the best wines available, local draft beers and handcrafted cocktails.

We strive to source the freshest seasonal and regional produce whenever possible, and our meals are prepared with the utmost care and attention by our talented culinary team. At DK we provide sincere, casual, and attentive service in a warm ambiance where every guest feels important. Interested in trying a bit of everything? We are an American small plate restaurant that encourages sharing amongst your family and friends. We also provide half and full portions so you can create your own multiple course tasting menu.
