Are these mason bees?
Need help identifying if this is a mason bee nest. And if not, is this a friend or foe? Location is Portland, Oregon.

These mud nests are located in a most of window frames. They are causing the wood window frames to warp. Should I wait to remove until they hatch?

Is it normal to bust out with a flower rather than leaves right after planting? The first leaf hasn't even unfurled yet 🫩

Dormant Chilli Plant - I've removed all the leaves and chopped the main 3 branches an inch or so up from the main stem with the intention of watering minimally every 2/3 weeks. Am I doing it right?

Life finds a way. I swear I have no idea how this happened. Did manage to get it out.

I asked my husband to edge the driveway.
He obviously used the w**d whacker. Messed up my grass. And didn’t actually edge. (That yellow stuff isn’t dead grass sitting on top, it IS the grass. The wavy line is where it’s shorter now.)

But now I’ve got a sculpted look to my grass. 🫤

I normally do the edging, but I’ve been sick and I knew it looked bad, so I asked him to do it.

When I asked him about it, he kinda grinned and shrugged and said I guess you don’t want me to edge anymore, huh?

Weaponized incompetence. I knew it!

What have I grown? So I posted a few pictures of my plants a few weeks ago and was advised to come back when the peppers...

backyard mystery plant in texas
just moved in and this huge plant is in my backyard. huge stems and leaves but seemingly no trunk. probably like 6-7 feet tall with some leaves as big as like a foot across. there seems to be little versions throughout the yard. when I try to look it up all I really get is Empress Tree, but that doesn’t seem right with its multiple stems and again, no trunk. it’s stunning! i’m just so curious if it’s a HUGE w**d or what lol.

also, is it safe to touch? I assume yes but I’m nervous because I tend to have bad reactions 🙃 I want one of the leaves so bad haha
