We’ve worked on serving you an exciting, fresh taste on traditional Panamanian-Caribbean bites & beverages. From creating new & fun recipes, to sourcing & roasting Panamanian coffee beans, we continue to perfect our bold flavors to celebrate your everyday moments.

Thank you to la comunidad panameña—the new generation & the true generation—for all of your food suggestions, connections to Ron Abuelo 😉, and sharing your own mixture of ají sauce 🔥.

Huge thanks to our Mola Empanada guests for taking the ride with us since the day we opened our doors. We’re grateful to even consider you all as friends!

Mola Empanada’s FIRST BRICK & MORTAR IN ADAMS MORGAN! 🎉⁣

We’ve started serving these Panamanian-inspired bites over a year ago in every weather as a little pop-up. You’d always see us with our two tables, two induction stoves, two insulated bags filled with empanadas and patacones, and two huge smiles waiting to serve you great food! 😋⁣

We’re excited to continue pan-frying the delicious frituras and introduce newer menu items for you all to enjoy.⁣

Help us perfect our operations at Mola Empanada’s SOFT OPENINGS this weekend, starting TODAY, 7/29 at 3pm at our new location! We’ll be open again on Saturday and Sunday, and then continue delivering the festive bites from Thursdays to Sundays, 3pm - 10pm, until we expand our days and times.⁣

Celebrating Mola Empanada’s FIRST POP-UP, a year ago today! 🎉

On Sunday, May 16th, 2021, our fryer was hot 🔥, energy was pumped, and insulated bags were filled with so many empanadas for you all to taste and enjoy for the first time! We didn’t know what to expect for Mola’s first pop-up. So, when we SOLD OUT, we were excited to get back in the kitchen and wrap more!

We’re still very grateful for ’s awesome customers, and family & friends who were the first to experience the fun.

Since then, we’ve been popping up around DC serving you a Panamanian 🇵🇦 celebration in a bite.
