Playing catch up again. Please forgive my delayed posts…it’s been a busy 2026! 🤣

Perfect attendance for March is Lisa Merida, Regina Trenkamp, and Teresa Ballance.

Perfect attendance for April is Lisa Merida.

Employee of the month for March is Teresa Ballance. Teresa is new to our team this year and has done an exceptional job learning all her duties. She is a team player and full of positivity. We are so happy to have her on our team!

Employee of the month for April is Krissy Kirkland. Although Krissy isn’t technically just ours (she’s currently a floater), she feels like she’s been on our team for a long time. She fits right in and is an excellent worker. Krissy always remains positive and kind, and she is a great addition to Gallatin County School Food Service.

We added one more lunch hero to our staff today, as senior Brandon Perez signed to join our team next school year!

Brandon has been helping us during lunch the past several months and brings such positivity and joy each day. The students love Mr. Brandon, and we are looking forward to working next year with him.😊

If your child has ever talked fondly about their lunch lady, here’s your chance to let them know.

Lunch ladies love their work for all the little reasons (it students) but it would be so nice to hear about the difference they make from the ones who know best!

Please encourage your child to write a note or draw a picture for the lunch lady that has made a difference in their life. Let’s shower these ladies with love on May 1st, School Lunch Hero Day! 🦸🏻‍♀️
