I wanted to share an email I received after helping another vendor at Saturdays event during the big storm that rolled through.
Email:
Hi Real McCoy Barbecue Team,
I wanted to reach out personally and say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what your ladies did for us on Saturday.
When the weather came through and the rain and wind started tearing our tent apart, things got overwhelming very quickly. In the middle of that heavy rain, three of your wonderful women came over without hesitation and helped us hold our tent down, and then stayed to help us get it taken down safely.
They were absolutely soaking wet, but they never complained or acted like helping us was an inconvenience. They simply saw another vendor struggling and jumped in to help.
That kind of kindness is something we won't forget.
The food truck and vendor community can be pretty incredible, and Saturday was a perfect example of that. When things got rough, your team didn't just worry about themselves—they came running to help us. It meant more to us than I can really put into words.
Please make sure those three ladies know how genuinely grateful the entire Easy Squeeze Lemonade crew is for them. We appreciate their kindness, their help, and the fact that they were willing to stand out there getting drenched right alongside us until we could get everything under control.
There are good people in this world, and Saturday we were lucky enough to have three of them right next to us.
Thank you, Real McCoy Barbecue. We won't forget it, and we hope we have the opportunity to work alongside you all again—hopefully next time with a little more sunshine! ❤️🍋

This isn’t to brag, but to show that even if you are dry & safe it doesn’t hurt to help others in need. Watching another business struggle & potentially lose product is an awful sight, no matter how big or small. Getting completely soaked was a small price to pay to lend a hand in need.
Big shoutout to my employees Alex & Hannah who quickly followed me out the door to help them & then stayed to finish the event soaking wet!
If you seen me Saturday after the storm looking like a drowned rat, now you know why 😂😂😂
