Aemilia Graham earns Week 9 Athlete of the Week honors after an outstanding performance against some of the toughest competition of the season.

Aemilia ran a personal best of 28.27 in the 200m, earning a 5th-place finish and moving into 1st place in the district rankings. She continued her strong day in the 400m, posting another personal best of 1:04.19 (currently 1:02) for a 2nd-place finish. She then capped off the meet by anchoring the 4x400m relay team to a 2nd-place finish against very stiff competition.

With personal records in both individual events and a key role in the relay team's success, Aemilia demonstrated exceptional determination, competitiveness, and leadership throughout the meet.

🏃‍♀️💙 From Arnie’s Cafe to the State Championships! 💙🏃‍♀️

Today we’d like to give a huge shoutout to one of our incredible team members, Aemilia Graham!

Through countless hours of training, determination, and hard work… Aemilia has qualified for the State Championships in both the 400-meter dash and the 200-meter dash! She also earned an impressive 3rd-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles!

Success like this doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from showing up every day, pushing through challenges, and staying committed to your goals. Aemilia has done exactly that. We couldn’t be more proud.

Whether she’s helping guests at the cafe or competing on the track, she brings the same dedication and positive attitude to everything she does.

Today, we pause.

Here in Warrenton, we are surrounded by reminders of sacrifice. From the historic grounds of Fort Stevens to the service members who train at Camp Rilea, our community is deeply connected to the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform.

But Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is a day of remembrance.

Today, we honor the brave Americans who gave their lives in service to our country. The mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

Their courage shaped our history. Their sacrifice protects our future. Their memory deserves our gratitude.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we take a moment to reflect on those who never made it home and the families who carry their legacy forward every day.

From all of us at Arnie’s Cafe, thank you to our fallen heroes. We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

🚨 Arnie’s Cafe Vacation Notice 🚨

After a whole lot of coffee poured, biscuits baked, laughs shared, and busy mornings together… it’s time for a little reset. ❤️

Arnie’s Cafe will be CLOSED May 19th - 27th while I head out on vacation — which also means our incredible team gets a well-deserved PAID vacation too. ☀️✈️

This crew works unbelievably hard day in and day out to take care of our community, and being able to give them time to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside the cafe is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

We’ll miss you all for a few days… but don’t worry:
☕ We’ll be back
🥞 The coffee will still flow
🍩 The bakery case will return in all its glory

We reopen refreshed and ready to feed our favorite community again on the Thursday, May 28th!
