Hello, SMELT connoisseurs! We have procured a selection of your preferred small fish, which will be available for purchase while supplies last, hopefully through this weekend. Please visit us while they are available. They vary in size, not all being small, but we have them specifically for you.

Hello everyone!
As most of you are aware… there is a smelt shortage… we ran out a few weeks ago but were able to to pick up a few more cases from s different supplier… but sadly we served our last order this Friday… fresh water smelts (lake smelts) are in danger…
Shortages are driven by the following factors….

1. Native predators fish
In this case: (trout & pacific salmon) are preying on smelt & combined by invasive species like zebra mussels that steal their food supply ( plankton)

2. Warming Waters

3. Stricter regulations

4. Collapsing wild populations

5. Environmental & climate challenges

6. Tightened commercial harvest limits

We apologize for not having smelts available at this time…. As soon as we are able to purchase more smelts we will let you all know…. It is not by choice that we are out and we refuse to serve salt water smelts as they are extremely large and very salty…

Shop message to all our customers. We have been out of smelts for the last few weeks. We were able to get some in this morning. We are prepping them now and they should be on the menu this evening. We have had to slight price increase.
