In 1969, the owner of Sorrento Pizza, Giovanni Coppola, could not have imagined that he had created a legendary pizza that would be loved for over 40 years. From the secret pizza sauce recipe know only to a few, to the commitment of keeping 100% real cheese on his pizzas, to the old world small pepperoni, which many abandon in order to make more profit. Whether you swing through the drive-thru for a slice or order a whole 16inch pie, you are reminded that the best things in life never change! A simple request 38 years ago has turned into a Sorrento tradition. Every Halloween, the young and old line up at Sorrentos to trick-or-treat and receive a free slice of pizza!
