The City of Centerville is proud to present the return of Food Truck Fridays on June 5
Featuring The Chris Anderson Band of Bonaire and Nashville recording artist and Macon native Kaleigh Courson
CENTERVILLE, GA – The City of Centerville is excited to announce the return of Food Truck Fridays on Friday, June 5 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Center Park, highlighted by The Chris Anderson Band of Bonaire from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Kaleigh Courson performing in concert from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Chris Anderson Band frontman Chris Anderson is a sax and keyboard player and does vocals and programming. On the Middle Georgia Music Scene since 1979, Anderson started to perform with some of the finest local bands including Sneezz, Southbound, S***k, The Fred Robinson Big Band, The Georgia Big Band, Silk and Steel, The Chase Band, Sweet Baby, Vital Signs, Them Lizards, Top Notch, Wi******er, The Grapevine, The Missing Links, Creative Chaos, Sensations, Road Pizza, The Tickets, One Big Party and too many more to count. Anderson also performed along with members of "Stillwater" of Capricorn Records fame, members of "Doc Holliday", Larry G. Hudson, E.G. Kight, Paul Hornsby, Chris Hicks of the Outlaws, Percy Sledge, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Chris Chandler and many others.
Courson is a Nashville recording artist from Macon, who has a deep passion for writing and performing. Her ability to blend Southern Rock into her Country sound reminds you of what real country music is all about! She was a finalist for the 2021 Georgia Country Award's Female Artist of the Year and was a semi-finalist for the 2022 Georgia Country Award's Female Artist of the Year.
We also have a slate of food trucks for all ages that will be full of flavorful yummy goodness that ranges from sweets to burgers to Mexican.
The Food Trucks include Chick-fil-A, Jail Creek Winery, Peach Cobbler Factory, Pinky’s, Salsa’s Mexican Grill, Suburb Grill, Soul2Soul Food, and Tasting at the Burrough.
Everyone is invited to come to enjoy good food and good music at Center Park at 103 E Church Street in Centerville.
