For ten years, Between Friends Coffee has been so much more than a coffee shop. It has been a gathering place, a community, a home away from home, and the setting for countless conversations, celebrations, milestones, and memories. Throughout those years, one question followed us almost every day: "Will you ever share the recipes?"

Today, we are thrilled to say yes!

We are incredibly proud to announce the upcoming publication of our cookbook, a collection of the food and beverage recipes that helped tell the story of Between Friends Coffee. Inside its pages, you will find the homemade favorites, customer requests, signature drinks, award-winning creations, secret family recipes, and literary-inspired menu items that have been part of our journey for more than a decade.

From beloved lattes and specialty drinks to bakery favorites, breakfast classics, soups, sandwiches, and the recipes that customers have begged us to share for years, this book contains the recipes that wrote our story. This project is deeply personal to us. As we reflected on everything Between Friends has meant to our community, we knew we wanted to create something lasting. We wanted you to be able to make your favorite recipes at home, share them with your family, and keep a little piece of Between Friends in your kitchen for years to come.

The cookbook will be available for purchase beginning June 30th. Thank you for supporting us through every chapter of this incredible adventure. Whether you visited us once or joined us every day for ten years, you are part of this story. This cookbook belongs to all of us.

We cannot wait to share it with you!

Thank you everyone who came out to our liquidation sale today! We were able to move quite a bit out the door. We have restocked for our next sale on Saturday, June 20th, from 10AM-5PM.

In the meantime, if anyone is looking for anything in particular, please reach out to us and we will be more than happy to meet you at the shop for you to pick up purchases.

Thank you to the Georgia Department of Corrections who came early this morning and picked up all of our book donations. We packed out a transport van full of new and gently used books. We have always been a proud funding supporter of the Georgia Department of Corrections library system within the state. Thank you all in our lovely community for always supporting our endeavors to promote literacy across all ages. Books should always be accessible for everyone. Words have the power to change lives.

To Every Person Who Ever Wore Our Apron…

As we turn the final page on this chapter and say goodbye to our literary coffeehouse, I don’t want to do it without saying thank you to every single one of you who ever stood behind that bar, wiped down those tables, burned a batch of scones, nailed the morning rush, stayed late to mop, or learned how to pour a heart into a latte. For ten years, this shop was more than a business.

Some of you were here for years. Some of you were here for a season. Some of you left to chase bigger dreams. Some of you left because it was simply time. Some of you were let go. Some of those endings were easy. Some were not. But every single one of you is part of our story. You helped shape the culture. You influenced the atmosphere. You served thousands of customers who walked in as strangers and left feeling known. You carried conversations, comforted regulars, memorized orders, swept floors, survived holiday chaos, and kept the coffee flowing when it felt like the whole world needed caffeine at once.

We grew up together in many ways. We learned hard lessons. We made mistakes. We celebrated wins. We disagreed. We laughed a lot. We took thousands of pictures. We drank a lot…of coffee. And through it all, something meaningful was being built. Even if our paths didn’t end perfectly, we can still say this sincerely: we are grateful for the time we shared. The shop would not have survived a decade without the dozens of hands and hearts that passed through it. When people talk about the “magic” of this place, they’re talking about you.

Thank you for the early mornings. Thank you for the patience. Thank you for the loyalty. Thank you for the lessons. Thank you for being part of these ten chapters. Wherever you are now, whether you stayed in coffee, became teachers, parents, entrepreneurs, medics, lawyers, artists, or something entirely different, know that you helped write this story and we will always appreciate that and remember you.

Today is our final day in business as a restaurant, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

From 7AM until 2PM, we invite you to stop by one last time for a cup of coffee, a meal, a hug, a story, or simply a moment to reflect on the memories we have shared together over the years.

Please take a moment to sign our memory book and leave us a note. We would love to hear your favorite memories, stories, and well wishes as we close this chapter. We will also have merchandise, artwork, décor, mugs, and other pieces of Between Friends available for purchase if you would like to take a little piece of our story home with you.

While today marks the end of our journey as a restaurant, it is not the end of our story. We have some exciting things in the works that we cannot wait to share with you soon. Until then, we hope you will help us celebrate everything this coffee shop has meant to so many people. Thank you for everything during this past decade. You have made Between Friends Coffee so much more than we ever dreamed it could be.

Come say goodbye over coffee one more time. Most importantly, stay in touch! The best chapters are often the ones we never see coming.

Tomorrow, from 7AM until 2PM, Between Friends Coffee will serve its final day as a restaurant.

Ten years ago, we opened our doors with a simple dream: to create a place where people could gather, share stories, and feel at home. What we never could have imagined was how many incredible people would walk through those doors and forever change our lives.

Over the years, our customers became our Friends, and many of those Friends became family. We celebrated milestones together, mourned losses together, watched children grow up, shared countless cups of coffee, recommended books, listened to each other's stories, and built a community that is far more meaningful than anything we ever dreamed possible. People often ask us if it was worth it. The answer is yes. Every early morning, every late night, every sacrifice, every challenge, and every moment was worth it because it led us to you.

Tomorrow is not simply the closing of a coffee shop. It is the closing of a chapter that has been filled with love, friendship, laughter, and memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. If Between Friends has ever been a part of your story, we would love to see you one last time. Come share a cup of coffee, a hug, a memory, or simply a goodbye. We would be honored to spend these final hours with the people who made this place what it was.

While our doors may be closing, the friendships formed within these walls will remain. The impact you have had on our lives cannot be measured, and the gratitude we feel cannot be adequately expressed in a single post. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for choosing us. Thank you for trusting us with your stories, your celebrations, your struggles, your victories, and your time. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your lives.

Tomorrow, we will serve our last drinks, hand across our last plates, and lock our doors one final time. But what we built together was never just a coffee shop. It was a community. It was a family. It was a place where conversations were better Between Friends.
