Follow us on Burr Oak Haven and see posts on gardens (seed starting to harvest to seed saving), preserving our harvest (canning, dehydrating, and freezing), butchering and curing (bacon, Canadian bacon, pastrami, pepperoni, hot dogs, brats, etc), and of course delicious homegrown, made from scratch meals including recipes!

My lovely and talented friend, Dee Cassidy, is baking for the Friendly Tavern in St. Mary’s and this week’s cake is PUMPKIN SPICE!

Wednesday is spaghetti night and Thursdays are barbecue. Step in for dinner and a piece of gourmet cake!
