Hello, McGuire’s Family! ❤️
We are getting SO close!
We are tentatively planning to open mid-September! We don’t want to announce an official “Grand Opening” date until we are 100% certain that every last loose end is tied up and we are ready to open our doors, but things are moving in the right direction!
That being said… WE’RE HIRING!
If you know me personally, you probably know I’ve had so many people reach out wanting to be part of our opening team. First, THANK YOU. It means so much to us that so many people are excited to work with us and be part of bringing McGuire’s back.
I do have one big favor to ask: please do not message me personally about employment.
The rebuild alone has been extremely stressful, and between social media, texts, calls, and personal messages, I’m honestly not able to keep employment inquiries organized the way they deserve to be.
For that reason, we have decided to use Indeed for our main hiring process. Anyone interested in the following positions will need to apply through Indeed:
🍽️ Servers — Full & Part Time — MUST BE 18+
👩🍳 Line/Prep Cooks — Full & Part Time
Just a reminder — the new McGuire’s will be a restaurant-style setting, not a bar setting. While we will still serve alcohol, our focus is on creating a welcoming, family-friendly restaurant atmosphere with great food and great service. Our server positions will be traditional restaurant serving positions.
Experience is preferred, but we are absolutely willing to train the right candidates! We will be reviewing applications and selecting applicants to interview from there. Using Indeed gives us one place to compare experience, availability, and qualifications and ultimately choose the people we feel will be the best fit for our team.

We are ALSO looking for dishwashers, drive-thru hosts, and some additional prep help. These positions will not be posted on Indeed because previous experience really isn’t necessary.
These could be great positions for:
* High school students
* Someone looking for a second job
* Retired individuals wanting a few hours
* Anyone looking for a smaller, flexible work schedule
We plan to schedule many of these positions in approximately four-hour shifts, and I’m willing to work around school, sports, other jobs, and existing schedules to a reasonable extent.

And please don’t feel like your resume is “lacking” if you don’t have restaurant experience! For these positions, we’re looking just as much at dependability, availability, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
I’m genuinely so excited to start looking through applications and putting together our new McGuire’s team. Even more than that, I’m excited for everything the next few weeks will bring as we start involving our community in the final stretch of our road to reopening.
