Hey All! We sure do miss you! It’s not quite the same without the Feather! Good news is we’re enjoying our down time (40 hr work weeks?!?) and baby Gloria is loving life as a rambunctious almost 10month old!

We have some other news too! We’re having a little yard sale this weekend! Stop by and see if you need any feather memorabilia, your favorite barstool or maybe a giant rooster painting?! We’ll be at 44 west st (the Ren-Rest building just past feather) in front of and in the Zen Rest Yoga studio. 9am-1pm Friday July 2nd and Saturday July 3rd 9am-?
We’d love to see you so stop by and maybe help us unload some of this stuff too!

Also—some other news—some friends of ours are taking over the 38 West St space and it should be opening as a restaurant and bar soon! We heard rumors they just received their health permit and should be open for food soon! We’re excited about their venture so be sure to check them out when they open!

Hello Everyone. We have some news about the Feather Family. It’s been a great 6+ years but we have made the decision to close Feather & Stone permanently. Things have been different this past year; we all know that. With the addition of baby Gloria our very difficult decision about the state of Feather was a little bit easier to make.

We want to thank all the great employees who have worked over the years; especially the crew right now. We’ve had some great times and seriously—I couldn’t have done it without you. I’m proud to call many of you my friends.

Thank you to all the great vendors and reps over the years and all our musicians and DJs. We’ve have some wild times at Feather, from outdoor dinner music, awesome bands on the weekends, karaoke on Thursdays, DJ Dirty rocking my 30th Birthday party and Hot Rod’s blow out Black Light Parties.

Thank you to our family who has supported us in this venture since day one and has stood by our side since.

But especially, THANK YOU, our customers, for the tremendous support over the years. We love all our customers and will miss you all so very much. It was a big risk to move back here and open a restaurant and bar and I’m so glad I did. I have met so many amazing people and have formed so many amazing bonds over the years. I love to feed people and you all seem to enjoy my cooking and recipes. We couldn’t have done it without you Walton! I’m going to miss creating specials with you in mind.

With all that said, I still love to cook and while I don’t entirely know what the future will hold, have no fear, I’ll still be cooking and I’m sure you’ll find me in the area. I’m looking forward to spending time with my little girl, hiking with my husband more (we cannot wait until spring! Glo is going to love being outside!) and perhaps enjoying some free time (what’s that?!)

Thank you to the original Gloria, my grandmother, Gloria Ann Fetherston, for the namesake of Feather and Stone and namesake for my beautiful 6 month old, Gloria Erin Hansen.
