Hello Park Place community. It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing our closing. Our final day will be Saturday March 1st, 2025.
Guys, we want to thank you all for your support and love for my family and our business. I am beyond grateful to have had this experience especially working with my family for 3 years. We are choosing not to discuss the business or it’s closing at the shop, but have decided to be as transparent as possible in this post.
First and foremost the summer and warmer months were great for us. Unfortunately in the colder months we have just barely been making it. My goal was to always provide an income for the family and unfortunately even that has become a dauntless task.
Second, we had the opportunity to lease Park Place for a limited time. Some of you know the details of our lease, but long story short 2025-2026 would have been our final year. We elected not to lease our final year just to let it go in 2026. We treated Park Place as a second home, but knowing all the time, energy, blood, sweat and tears would result in closing regardless, was hard to bear.
Third, my family and our health is most important. Betty and Poppy should be focusing on retirement. I have had numerous seizures in the past few years and I can’t leave this on the back burner any longer.
We truly feel we have done a good thing here. We feel we have been an awesome place for the community, we made so many friends and regular customers, and we have memories that will last a lifetime. Business has been difficult at times, we definitely had a lot of setbacks and barriers. That being said the truly amazing experiences and even the smallest of things shine brighter because of this. While we never made a billion dollars, I know my family agrees we made it a family destination. We cared more about our smiling customers and providing remarkable service than anything else.
We will be holding some specials all February. We will also have some announcements for our last week. Come see us and let’s really go out with a bang.
