For years I’ve heard my friends and a lot of other people say “Walterboro needs a brewery”.
While I love the idea, and explored the idea of opening one myself…you have to understand the truckload of money required to open a brewery…and once it’s open and your a million in debt, you have to have enough volume of people buying your brand and not that skinny “Ultra” can.
Unfortunately, I don’t believe the population of walterboro would be able to support a real brewery and the volume required for them to sell, just to keep the doors open..Just not enough people here..
BUT……THERES GOOD NEWS! BIG HEAD EDS offers a variety from over SEVEN LOCAL BREWERIES from throughout the LowCountry region!
If you have said these words, or you have a Craft brew loving friend who’s said this…Big Head Ed’s is the only place within over 50 miles who is offering all these amazing brews from all these amazing local breweries!
Local doesn’t mean “generic”..the different label than your used to may be on the outside of the can of your NEW FAVORITE BREW!
