We are truly honored and grateful to partner with Bridges of Hope for the Hope Takes Flight event.

At Peculiar Pig Eats, farm-to-table is more than a phrase it is who we are. Every dish we prepare carries the story of our farm, our community, and the South Carolina farmers and producers who help make this work possible.

For this event, we are proud to bring a biscuit bar experience rooted in Southern tradition, and genuine care. We appreciate Bridges of Hope for recognizing the heart behind what we do and for allowing us to be part of an event that is focused on nourishing people in every sense of the word.

Thank you to everyone supporting this beautiful mission. We look forward to serving you.

We’re so excited to share that Peculiar Pig Eats will be catering Hope Takes Flight biscuit bar! Recently named 2025 Top Chef by the South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation, their team brings not only talent—but heart—to everything they create.

Guests will enjoy a delicious biscuit bar featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients straight from Peculiar Pig Farms and other South Carolina farms. Their commitment to true farm-to-table catering means every bite tells a story—one rooted in community, quality, and care.

It’s more than a biscuit bar—it’s an experience that reflects the spirit of our event. We’re so grateful to partner with a team that believes in nourishing people in every sense of the word.

From Palmetto Palate Top Chef to serving the people who help feed South Carolina what an honor.

We’re grateful to the Orangeburg Area Cattlemen’s Association for the shoutout and excited to cater Thursday’s meal. Peculiar Pig Eats may be known for award-winning pork, but we’re always proud to serve exceptional food that celebrates the full strength of South Carolina agriculture.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our farm, our food, and our mission.

We are incredibly grateful to have partnered with Denmark Olar FFA for their Farm to Fork Dinner. What made this event special wasn’t just the food it was the opportunity to stand with students, answer questions, share knowledge, and bring agriculture to life in a real and tangible way.
Watching students serve, engage, and learn about where their food truly comes from reminds us why we do this work. Agriculture is more than a business it’s heritage, stewardship, responsibility, and leadership.
Thank you to the Denmark Olar FFA chapter, faculty, and supporters for trusting Peculiar Pig Farm and Peculiar Pig Eats to be part of this experience. The future of agriculture is bright.
From our farm to your table and into the future.

Sometimes it’s good to step away from the smoke.

Last night was one of those moments.
Kale salads lined up like they meant business.
Golden croutons catching the light.
Comfort plates finished with gravy, green beans, and a whole lot of care.

This is the part of cooking I love just as much as barbecue, building a full table. Letting vegetables shine. Giving sides, sauces, and scratch-made dishes the same respect as the main.

Peculiar Pig Eats isn’t just one lane. It’s farm roots and Southern muscle. It’s knowing the pit inside and out and still saying yes when the menu calls for something different.

Grateful for rooms that trust us to feed them well.
Grateful for chances to stretch, create, and cook with intention.

More than barbecue.
Still all heart.

On Friday, Feb 27, we’re firing up the pit and going whole hog at the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival’s Pig Pickin’ & Oyster Roast and trust us, you’ll want a front-row seat to the sizzle.

We’re bringing that slow-roasted, oak wood kissed magic straight from the farm to the flame. Add oysters, live music, and Lowcountry vibes? That’s a night worth circling twice on your calendar.

Come hungry. Leave changed.

This Sunday, we’re rolling into Summers Corner Winter Fest with the kind of food that warms your hands and sticks to your ribs.

Whole Hog BBQ, chopped and kissed with smoke.
Smoked pulled beef, Smoked pork ribs rich and tender.
Mac & cheese baked creamy and golden.
BBQ beans, collards cooked low, hash and rice done the right way.
Plus a spread of other Southern sides that know their roots.

This isn’t fast food.
This is winter food.
The kind you eat standing close to the pit, breath fogging the air, sauce on your fingers.

Bring the kids. Bring the neighbors.
Grab a plate, catch the music, and let the Grinch smell the smoke from down the block.

Azalea Ridge Park at Summers Corner
1–4 PM
Sunday, December 21st
