What makes Walpole Creamery Ice Cream "the best, right from the start"? While most “homemade” ice cream makers buy their base mix from large commercial producers, we make ours from scratch, at our Walpole, New Hampshire plant. We use only local, hormone and antibiotic-free milk and other high-quality, all-natural ingredients in our Super Premium, award winning, ice cream. Super Premium is not a ti

tle we made up. There are actually several recognized grades of ice cream based on the quality of the ingredients, the amount of overrun (air) in the product, and the milk fat content of the final product. Standard ice cream is 10% milk fat and generally 100% overrun. Our ice cream is over 16% milk fat with 30% overrun. Super Premium is simply the creamiest, densest ice cream you can get! All-natural is also a title we carry with pride. Our ice cream meets the non-GMO standards that were set by the State of Vermont in 2016 and we are marketed in local co-ops and have been accepted into Whole Foods North Atlantic as an all-natural product. For every batch of ice cream we make, Crescent Farm in Walpole, New Hampshire supplies us with fresh milk– straight from their farm to our plant– where it is made into ice cream the same day. We are one of the few ice cream makers in the United States who can truly call their ice cream local, small batch, all-natural and Super Premium. We have been named “Best of New Hampshire” for the past three years. We are committed to maintaining the highest quality standards for our products. Walpole Creamery ice cream is available at our parlor in Walpole, NH, and in more than 260 stores in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. We are also now available in all of the Central Market stores in Texas.

Yes, Creamery Fans, the summer is coming to a close - whether we like it or not. Those college-bound members of our parlor staff have already worked their final days, and our high school members are returning to classes this Wednesday (8/26). As a result, we must shorten our open hours. For this week, the parlor will be open as follows:
Monday 12-7pm
Tuesday 12-7pm
Wednesday 3-7pm
Thursday 3-7pm
Friday 3-7pm
Saturday 12-7pm
Sunday 1-7pm

The following week, we will be going to our usual autumn hours:
Closed Monday to Thursday; open Friday 3-7pm, Saturday 12-7pm, and Sunday 1-7pm. We'll be open the entire day (12-7pm) on Monday, 9/7 for Labor Day, but will return to autumn hours thereafter until we close for the winter on October 13.

Good news!!!
After consulting with our high school servers, we have decided to extend our closing time from 7pm to 8 pm, effective immediately. An early Memorial Day kind of messed us up, but fortunately our servers are all excellent students and can still manage their academic requirements with a later shift.
So now you have time for a cone after dinner!!!🥰
