Next Saturday, we’re bringing a little New Orleans to 1220 and partying for a cause. ⚜️

The Big Easy Pole Show kicks off at 6:30 PM with a fundraiser benefiting Cycle to Zero, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation’s new cycling event carrying forward the three-decade legacy of AIDS/LifeCycle. Cycle to Zero raises funds for SFAF’s HIV prevention, care and community services, working toward a future of zero new HIV diagnoses, zero stigma, zero inequity and zero overdose.

Sunday, we recover responsibly-ish with live jazz from The Michael Gill Quintet at 5, then Holotta Tymes’ Baby Queens take the stage at 8.

It’s hard to imagine a world without her in it, so tonight we’re putting two of her classics on the big screen and celebrating her the best way we know how. Together 🦋

We’re showing 9 to 5 followed by The Best Little Wh******se in Texas, starting at 9PM.

The world lost a true original today. Songwriter, storyteller, philanthropist, LGBTQ+ icon and one of the kindest, sparkliest forces music has ever known.

So for Karaoke Wednesday, come sing the songs she gave us. Sing Jolene. Sing 9 to 5. Sing Islands in the Stream. And you already know someone better bring the house down with I Will Always Love You.
