Well, our
mission is to make a pizza -- little known in the United States, but
widely eaten at family meals in Italy -- be widely known in Walnut
Creek. For starters, we recognize it's all about the
dough. The recipe was developed through many years of tinkering. Inspiration came from a few very talented bakers in the SF Bay Area. Our crust is thick, airy, and crunchy all at once, and is made wit

locally milled flour. It takes three days for the dough to reach its
peak. A Sicilian pizza in the United States is
square (hence our name) and baked in pans. The toppings are simple, expressing our desire to let individual
ingredients do the talking. City Square is a Walnut Creek creation. It’s a pizza joint for
families, friends and neighbors to enjoy each other’s company. Our
intent is to make our customers happier than when they first walk
through our doors, and our city better by the spirit of our business.
