Years ago, when Stella Pizza was still in business here in Wallingford, Ed and Stella's owner, Cindy, had a little understanding. If one of them ran short on dough, tomatoes, or another ingredient during a busy day, they'd pick up the phone and call the other.
It was a lot like calling your neighbor to borrow a cup of sugar or a few eggs. Just two small business owners looking out for one another.
We've always loved that story because, to us, it's what being part of a community is all about. There's room for everyone to succeed, and sometimes the simplest gestures say the most about the people behind a business.
For 25 years, Trackside has been built on that same philosophy. Good food, good neighbors, and the belief that a strong community is one where we lift each other up.
As we head into another weekend, we know our little train car will be bustling with families, friends, familiar faces, and hopefully a few new ones. And while things can get busy, we never want to lose sight of what matters most: the people who walk through our doors.
We're grateful to be part of this town, to share its history, and to have a place in so many of your lives.
Here's to good neighbors, old friendships, and another weekend together at Trackside. ❤️
