Fall in Love with Boon Kai this season as we welcome the cooler weather. We hope everyone is doing well! With the Fall and Winter season coming in we would like to remind everyone that this is usually our busiest time of the year, so we would like to recommend everyone to CALL in their orders so we can properly time and cook all your orders. People walk in and see the pick up table empty and think that we are slow but we time it so that most of the orders are picked up within minutes of being finished so the food is hot and there is enough time for you to make it to our restaurant.

We've also implemented a 7:30pm LAST CALL because we've been having a very high volume of orders being abandoned or wanting to be picked up at 8:30pm - 9pm. Our HOURS are TUESDAY - SUNDAY 11:30am to 8pm w/7:30 last call.

I have our hours on the front door, the whiteboard inside, phone recording and now on FB. Some how we still have people oblivious to all the signage and they think we close at 9pm.. Maybe in the future but at the moment it will be 8pm with the 7:30pm last Call.

Hello Everyone, We will be closed on Friday Aug 8th - Saturday Aug 9th due to Family matters. We will be back the following Sunday Aug 10th. We apologize for the inconvenience.

On a side note; we have a new appetizer and stir fried noodle dish in the works. We are planning to have them on the menu this Fall. It will be the start of many delicious additions to the menu in the upcoming seasons.

We are also brainstorming a dessert dish amongst a few others hopefully we can get those added next Spring if everything goes well.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there. Much Love and Blessings to all.

Boon Kai is open today to bring food to everyone, so Momma doesn't have to cook!

We are usually very busy around 4pm - 7pm and depending on how backed up we are, Last call can be as early as 7pm so that we can get all the orders out accordingly. Otherwise regular times for last call will be 7:30pm-7:45pm.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
We hope your fall season has been going swell. We made a post earlier this week but I can't seem to see it on my end so this I am reposting an updated version.

Boon Kai will be closed the entire week of Thanksgiving from:

Nov 20th - Nov 27th - Closed

We will be back Nov 28th - Open

Also we are still taking orders for dinner rolls to be picked up Monday Nov 20th and Tuesday Nov 21st.
If you placed an order with us on the phone or in person, Boon Kai will be temporarily open on the 20th and 21st from 12pm - 2pm for you to pick up the dinner rolls.

Hello Everyone!

We have a new phone number. 248-896-2025

As you can see our phone number has changed, it's looking like that will be the new main number for Boon Kai from now on.

I also want to give an update with regards to the phone calls. Even with the new number we are still having connectivity issues so please bear with us until the phone company figures out what is going on.
For some reason when googling us on Iphone or using Apple Maps it is still showing the old contact information. I have no idea how to fix that issue but since you are reading this post the new phone number to use is: 248-896-2025

As for phone etiquette; Please be patient with us, our phone only has 2 lines that can be live at once and usually only 1 person trying to receive orders from multiple people. If you are put on hold, we will not forget you. It may take awhile sometimes but we will definitely answer the call as soon as we have a moment, Remember if 8 people call at once, only 2 will go through; the other 6 callers will be directed to voicemail or a busy tone. Please give us a few minutes and try calling us again. If you are on hold and decide to hang up and call again you might will lose your position in line, so whoever was holding next will now be ahead of you. Otherwise, you might just get put on hold again because we are really that busy.

KEEP IN MIND: The new number is still having connectivity issues, so sometimes it will hang up mid call, not connect etc etc.. We are aware of that and are doing our best to have the phone provider fix this issue. I will apologize in advance to those dropped calls while on hold or any other connection issues, we are at the phone company's mercy. Once again the new number is:

Usually last call is around 7:45 so it gives us time to properly clean and close otherwise we usually ask if you can show up before/by 8pm to pick up.
