Have you gotten your tickets yet for this year's Fall for History weekend?

The Wallace Idaho Chamber's annual Fall for History event, which was awarded with a 2026 Esto Perpetua Award from the ISHS, takes place October 1-4.

This year focuses on the impact of Hollywood in Wallace, ID, the 30th anniversary of "A Classic Eruption in Wallace", and the legacy several films have created for our little town. 🎥

Below shows the construction of sets for the 1980 epic Western "Heaven's Gate". This particular set was built in front of J-B's Food City building. The building later collapsed in 1985, and in 1986, the site became the new location of the Northern Pacific Railroad Depot. 🤠🐎
