We had a rough night with our internet being down, our Toast POS relies on internet! We had to work offline mode which meant sushi, kitchen and food packer areas DO NOT get orders at their printers. The cashier/hostess stands and servers had to bring the orders to all the necessary areas to get the take-out and dine-in orders done respectively. It caused chaos.

I tried to trouble shoot both the Optimum (fiber optic) and Verizon (5G) to work but both of them couldn’t stay connected for long and kept dropping. It shall be fixed tomorrow morning by Optimum visit. Verizon (5G) can’t handle and as long as FIOS is not offered by the town we cannot go with Verizon any longer but put up with optimum. 😓
