❤️ 25 YEARS OF DOC’S PLACE ❤️
25 years. It’s hard for me to even put into words what that means.
But my story with Doc’s Place actually started long before I became the owner.
My parents owned Doc’s Place for 32 years before I took over, so this little place has been part of my life and our family for as long as I can remember. And now, as I celebrate 25 years of owning it myself, I realize that between my parents and me, Doc’s Place has been part of our family for 57 years. ❤️
That’s pretty incredible to think about.
When Brad and I took over 25 years ago, I never could have imagined all the life that would happen within these walls.
Our customers have watched the business grow and change, but even more importantly, you’ve watched our family grow up right along with it.
You’ve watched our kids grow, celebrated their milestones with us, asked about them, cheered them on through their accomplishments, and shared in so many of our proudest moments. And when life wasn’t quite so easy, you were there for us then too—with a hug, a kind word, a listening ear, or simply by walking through our door and reminding us that we were surrounded by people who cared.
That’s what makes Doc’s Place so much more than a business to us.
Over 25 years, we’ve seen a lot of changes. We’ve had great years and challenging ones. We’ve worked long days, made mistakes, learned a lot, laughed until we cried, probably cried a few times too 😂, and made more memories than we could ever count.
And through it all, our little town has supported us.
There’s something pretty special about owning a small-town business. Your customers don’t stay strangers for very long. They become friends. You know their families, they know yours, and before you realize it, you’ve spent years doing life together.
Some of the faces that were here when I started are still walking through our doors today. We’ve watched your kids grow up too, and now we’re seeing some of them bring in kids of their own. That might be one of the greatest parts of being here for 25 years.
And maybe the thing I’m most thankful for is that after all this time, I still love going to work every day. ❤️
I love the familiar faces, the conversations, the laughter, the teasing, the stories and, yes, even some of the craziness. 😂 I love that Doc’s Place is somewhere you can walk in, grab a burger, have a cold drink or an ice cream treat and hopefully always feel at home.
To every customer who has walked through our doors, every employee who has worked beside us, every friend who has supported us, and this wonderful little town that has stood behind our family for all these years…
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for supporting our family.
And most of all, thank you for being such a big part of our story.
I’m incredibly proud of the 32 years my parents put into this place, and I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to carry it on for another 25.
57 years of our family at Doc’s Place.
25 years of calling it mine.
And a lifetime of memories. ❤️
I wouldn’t trade this journey—or this little town—for anything.
