Fried Flounder is as much of a Southern staple as anything. Golden, crispy, and always right at home on a Carolina plate.

Our friends are starting something exciting! Go give them a follow ☕

PHASE 1: UNDER CONTRACT!

We have a dream… and we just took the first step toward making it reality.

Since our girls were small, our family would talk about the cafe we would have one day if we ever had the opportunity. We would dream about the drinks, the food, all kinds of crazy names, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the kind of place we wanted it to be: somewhere our community could gather, connect, slow down, and enjoy each other while they enjoy good coffee and yummy treats.

We honestly thought it might always just be something we talked about.

Until we found the cottage.

We are officially under contract!

It isn’t ours quite yet, but this little cottage could be the place where that dream finally comes to life and we couldn’t be more excited to take you along with us.

Backstory: Our family has traveled throughout the United States, Costa Rica, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and the Dominican Republic, exploring coffee farms, roasters, and coffee shops along the way- just because we love coffee. But every stop has given us new inspiration, from the way coffee is grown and roasted to the welcoming spaces and experiences that bring people together.

We hope to bring everything we have learned home, to Wallburg.

There is still a LOT ahead of us. First comes closing, then rezoning and planning, renovations, design, menu development, and all the little details that will make this place feel like our Coffee Cottage.

But we’re ready to share the journey from the very beginning.

You’ll get to see the before, the dreaming, the planning, the decisions, the progress, and eventually… hopefully, the day we get to open the doors.

Welcome to the Wallburg Coffee Cottage journey!
