We are here to serve a vulnerable segment of our community ~the need is growing. My concern is for the compromised children and the elderly who are suffering from decisions made by those who don’t care to know the situation is dire.
As you know, Dough Mama exists only by donations, and we are asking. Our guests are growing in number which both pleases us at the same time it frightens us. On our last pizza day we were blessed to receive $115.00 and we are so grateful. We served 130 guests, the time before 200 pizzas were made and served with love. To fully provide this week our costs are $350.00. Clearly we need more financial support to continue the “paying it forward “ model. I know we can continue if our donations grow.
We will be at the Yachats Lions Club happily preparing pizza, pinwheels and our infamous dough k***s this Wednesday and we ask that those that can, will.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
