From last weeks Eats, Actually column titled 'So Long, and Thanks For All The Odd Fish' :

"Every outside seat was taken. Couples and families packed everywhere, children and dogs dashing around the lawns and into the brush. I had to snag a bench as its occupants left, a scene that played out over and over in the spacious farm property. While I waited I overheard a departing guest well farewell their companions with “See you next summer!”

Thanks always to The Lincoln County News and to writer Sarah Master for the continued love and support. It was a great surprise to discover this feature in last week's paper. If you don't already subscribe to the The Lincoln County News, you are missing out on the best newspaper around!

At Odd Alewives in Waldoboro on July 12, I strolled past peaches ripening on trees. Rows of jewel tone chard came next, then green houses forested with trellised tomato vines.

About last night.....wowza!

We are absolutely humbled by the incredible turnout and your continued generous outpouring of support and love. While we anticipated a busy night, we didn’t realize the scope of what was ahead of us so thank you all for your patience and kindness. When we brag about how awesome our customers are, we really mean it, and last night just verified that fact even more.

Tonight is the final night and to be completely transparent we anticipate selling out and so if you plan on visiting we recommend coming early.

Lastly, we couldn’t have built Odd Alewives without you, and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts! When we started OA it was in the spirit of Hunter S. Thompson to “Buy the ticket, take the ride” and having you all travel along with us on this b**r and pizza adventure has meant a lot.

This is it. Somehow the weeks have flown by and we’ve arrived at our final weekend.

We hope to see you one last time for pizza and drinks in the barn/b**r garden.

Staying warm on this rainy day by fire roasting Brussels for the sprout and onion pizza!

We know it’s not officially fall yet but it’s our favorite season, so for our LAST two weekends we are leaning hard into the Autumn vibes!

Another one of our favorites returns this week:
Roasted Brussels sprouts, sweet onion, garlic and herb cream sauce, mozzarella and provolone, finished with a balsamic glaze. Available on house made dough or gluten-free crust.

(There “might” also be a pumpkin b**r on tap, too.)

Open: Saturday & Sunday 4-8pm this weekend and next, then we close the barn doors permanently.

This is our last Thursday-Sunday week, then we have just two Saturday-Sunday weekends left.

To make the most of the remaining time, we are continuing to bring back some of our favorite pizzas. This much-loved seasonal pie is a fan favorite and is returning to the menu this week:

Maine apple slices, thinly sliced red onion, smoked cheddar, finished with a mustard vinaigrette. Available on house made dough or gluten-free crust.

Just a heads up....we are regularly selling out of pizza.

This means we cannot accommodate take-out orders. If you plan on eating here, we recommend coming in on the early side.

Open Thursday-Sunday 4-8pm through Labor Day weekend, and then Saturday-Sunday 4-8pm until September 20, 2026 (this is our last day until we permanently close).
