🥡 Happy Labor Day Weekend from Wontons Chinese Restaurant! 🥢

Labor Day Weekend is almost here, and we’re ready to help you celebrate with all your Wontons favorites! ❤️

We will be OPEN for dine-in and takeout all weekend, including Monday, 9/7/26, Labor Day!

Hours: 11am-7pm!

🍴We will NOT be accepting reservations for dine in. First-come, first-serve only!

🥡 Planning on takeout? ORDER AHEAD!
Holiday weekends are some of our busiest times, especially during the evening rush. If you know what time you’d like to enjoy your meal, we highly recommend calling your order in ahead of time and scheduling it for a later pickup. This can help you avoid the busiest phone and pickup times!

📞 Please remember that during peak hours, our phone lines may be extremely busy. We are answering calls and working as quickly as possible to get everyone’s orders in and out.

❤️ A little reminder to please practice patience with our staff this holiday weekend. Our team is working hard to serve as many customers as we can, and we truly appreciate your understanding when wait times are longer than usual. We promise we’re doing our very best!

Whether you’re relaxing at home, hosting a Labor Day gathering, or enjoying one last summer weekend with family and friends, let Wontons do the cooking! 🥡🥢

Have a safe and happy Labor Day Weekend!

Thank you for continuing to support Wontons! ❤️

🎉 Celebrating 25 Years of Wontons Chinese Restaurant 🎉

This month marks a very special milestone for us — 25 years of Wontons! 🥳❤️

Back in 2001, we opened our doors for the very first time as a small, family-owned and family-run restaurant. It looked a lot different than the space you know and love today, but our mission was the same: serve delicious food and create a place where everyone feels welcome.

In 2007, during renovations, we temporarily operated as Ni-Hao, a takeout-only restaurant located in downtown Wakefield, now known as Wakefield House of Pizza — and thanks to your support, we came back stronger than ever in the space you visit today.

2020 — a year none of us will ever forget. When COVID changed everything, we adapted quickly, closed the dining room, and introduced curbside pickup to keep our customers and staff as safe as possible while continuing to serve the community.

And came New Year’s Eve 2020 — traditionally our busiest day of the year. Even during one of the most uncertain times in our history, our customers showed up in an incredible way. Cars lined the highway for miles in both directions, with customers waiting to pick up their curbside orders. The traffic became so overwhelming that New Hampshire State Police arrived to help direct traffic and keep everyone moving safely. 🚔🥡

It was an unforgettable sight — and one that reminded us just how much Wontons means to the community we’ve been so fortunate to serve for 25 years. ❤️

Over the years, we’ve had many incredible employees who have been part of our journey, and we are so grateful for each and every one of them. Most importantly, we are thankful for YOU — our loyal customers — who have supported us through every chapter.

We’re proud to have built a strong reputation and honored to have been voted #1 Best Chinese Food in NH for 2025, placing #1 for the past 3 years in a row, and remaining in the top 3 for nearly the last 10 years. None of this would be possible without our hardworking team and amazing community.

❤️ This month, we celebrate you, our staff, and 25 wonderful years of memories. ❤️

Thank you for being part of our story. We truly wouldn’t be here without you, and we can’t wait to continue serving you for many more years to come!

🥡🥢 A LITTLE WONTONS LOVE & PATIENCE, PLEASE! ❤️

We just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to all of our amazing customers! 🥰 We’ve been VERY busy, especially on weekend nights, and we are so grateful for the incredible support that has made us #1 in the state for Chinese food restaurants for the past 3 YEARS IN A ROW! 🏆🥡

With that being said, we know that our phones can get EXTREMELY busy during peak takeout hours, and we sincerely apologize for any difficulty you may have getting through. 📞❤️

Please know that we ARE answering the phones and taking orders! Our team is working as quickly as possible to keep up with the volume of calls and orders coming in.

💡 A helpful tip: If you know you’ll want takeout later in the evening, you can always call ahead and place your order in advance for a later pickup time! This can help you avoid the busiest rush and make picking up your food much easier.

We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support of our family-owned restaurant. We wouldn’t be here without all of you! ❤️

Thank you for making Wontons your go-to for Chinese food! 🥡🥢

With love,
