Well-Bean is a woman-owned coffee roastery specializing in small-batch, craft coffee selling through coffee subscriptions, e-commerce, & corporate coffee partnerships. We’re a small-batch coffee subscription company. Our coffee doesn’t sit on shelves for months at a time. We roast, package and ship straight to our customer’s door to ensure they receive coffee that is fresh and flavorful. We’re a s

mall business which means that we know hard work. We relate the everyday grind of our customers. We can never find enough hours in the day and when the morning comes, we want to hit the snooze button too. Our to-do lists are never ending and we can’t seem to stop chasing our larger than life dreams. That’s why we created Well-Bean. We wanted to build a brand that can keep up with go-getters like us and their reach for the stars mindset. We’re a woman-owned business without the snooty attitude. We build other women up and cheer them on. We don’t take life too seriously as you can see in our fun, relatable packaging. We’ve been where our customers are and our coffee shows it. We embrace our hot mess moments and pat ourselves on the back when we slay the day. We’ve designed coffee that empowers people to be better and do better. We started Well-Bean Coffee Roasters with a mission to support health initiatives in Nicaragua through our partnership with New Song Mission. We are proud to continue to help enrich lives through each coffee purchase. Our focus on direct trade gives higher profits back to farmers for more sustainability. We really do have our hands on every part of the roasting process and travel to Nicaragua every year to see our farmers.

They partner up with the Paws for Life who can help you through the adoption process. They also partner with Well-Bean Coffee Roasters who are based out of Wake Forest as well! We are so excited for next’s month’s Coffee, Tea, Water show in Vegas. Our CEO has the privilege to moderate a fantastic panel and education session on “New Frontiers in Cold Coffee.”

The National Coffee Association, found cold-coffee beverage consumption up 23% since January 2021 and up 60% since first polled in January 2014 😵😱. Did you know 75% of the drinks sold at Starbucks are cold coffee beverages? Looks like it’s not just a summer trend anymore!

Y'all! Last week was a scorcher and this one is no better! 🥵

How about whipping up some cold brew popsicles as a refreshing summer time treat! These are perfect for a midday treat or early morning pick me up (we don't judge 😆)

And even better they are so easy to make.

This recipe makes 4 .
-1 cup cold brew coffee (any of our medium and dark roasts work perfectly for this).
-1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1 tablespoon honey (can substitute regular sugar or maple syrup as well)

Mix ingredients in bowl. Pour into popsicle molds overnight. THAT'S IT!! ☕️

✨For a little extra pizzaz, dip frozen popsicles into melted chocolate and place back in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Then serve! So fun ✨

This decaf coffee roast prefers to lay low, set the mood with mellow music, a bath bomb and a good book. When it’s time to escape from a long day our Colombian decaf will be there to help wash the stress away. 🙃

Hey there new coffee family! Meet Melissa!

"Eight years ago I was hiking through a Nicaragua coffee farm on an excursion and had a crazy idea! I was in Nicaragua visiting my parents who had moved there in 2007 to go full-time in a non-profit they started serving the Nicaraguans devastated by Hurricane Mitch.

New Song Mission was doing amazing things through health, wellness & community building initiatives, and I had to somehow get involved. When I walked the farm on our trip in 2012, I saw how hard the farmers worked, and when I tasted how wonderful their coffee was, the light bulb went off. I told my husband I was going to support coffee production in Nicaragua by importing coffee from that farm to our roastery in Wake Forest, North Carolina and donating a portion of the proceeds to New Song, my parents non-profit in Nicaragua.

I'm proud to be a woman-owned coffee roaster. The journey hasn't been easy, but as cliche as it sounds, it sure is worth it."
