Neighbor Night is going to happen this Thurs. June 18.

Before the fire, we planned on doing Neighbor Nights. Well. We had a request for support come in for kids' summer camp sponsorship, so we're making it happen with a neighbor night!!....

On Thursday, June 18, 10% of net sales at Whiskey C will be donated to support Waitsburg Summer Camps, facilitated by Friends of the Fairgrounds at Rural Youth Enrichment Services - RYES. (RYES is amazing if you guys don't know. Music, outdoor leadership, sports... just awesome stuff for kids).

10% will be anywhere between $150-$600 depending on how many of y'all show up and .

Your servers will also be happy to accept direct donations, collecting checks earmarked for the cause.

Last year the camp coordinators got about 60 shirts for kids and that's about $850ish bucks. And some families in need could use help with some registration fees for some kiddos too. So target goal is set at $1k. (We'll let everyone know how much was raised when its all said and done.)

The money will go towards the t-shirt that all the kiddos get and some scholarships for families in need.

Folks! The scuttlebutt is here.

And we’re making it fb official. (Hard to keep anything a secret in this town!)

Nearly two years ago Shrub Hospitality leased the ole’ WC. Through thick and thin the town and staff has been dedicated as heck.

We’re so proud of the team for where things are today. The goal was to make a dining experience the community would be proud to bring their guests/visitors to and we can confidently say, the crew certainly hit that mark. Hit that dang mark so hard it’s out of the park.

Anyway.

It is with great excitement and a lot of bittersweetness that we are announcing it’s time for Shrub to take a seat on the bench and hand the baton off to Fireline.

Chef Ryan Tull is at the helm of Fireline Hospitality Group and they will be an amazing addition to the Waitsburg community.

*We are actively working out the details to get things rolled from Shrub Hospitality to Fireline Hospitality.*

Things are still being finalized but we’re excited for the next chapter for this little hometown bar.

A new vision, and some fresh energy (not to mention his cooking skills + dishes, formerly Executive Chef of Hamleys) will be an amazing complement to the local vibes.

Biggest event in the Burg is almost here.

Grab your glove and come out for an afternoon of good old-fashioned fun at the Waitsburg Fairgrounds!

We’re putting together a community softball game for all skill levels. Men and women are welcome to play.

Teams will be formed based on sign-ups, so whether you’re a seasoned player or just in it for the laughs, we’d love to have you join in.

🍻 Beer garden hosted by the Firefighter Association showcasing local brewery beer from Laht Neppur and Buckwheat Brewery

🌮 Food truck will be available on-site

🎈 Inflatables for the kids (supervised by the Waitsburg Volleyball Team)

🏆 Home Run Derby between games to support Jack & Claudia, Miller. $5 per ball | Winner takes home a $50 gift card to our local Whiskey C

lunch popup? yes. Miss Barb asked us if we could cater for a community group meeting.

We were happy to oblige, and they've agreed to let the whole town join in if you would like.

(Not on their meeting. But y'all can come eat at your own table at least.)

If it goes well, we may expand hours if staffing allows.
