KŌKEʻE LODGE — CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Kōkeʻe Lodge will remain closed for the foreseeable future as we wait for State and County agencies to clear roadways and restore essential utilities following Hurricane Lowell.

Kōkeʻe is not currently open to visitors. We strongly discourage visitors and residents from traveling into Kōkeʻe and Waimea Canyon State Parks at this time. Keeping the parks clear allows road, utility, and emergency crews to move safely and complete this important recovery work without unnecessary traffic.

We remain in close communication with Hawaiʻi State Parks and will reopen Kōkeʻe Lodge as soon as access is restored and it is safe to welcome our community and visitors back.

We are grateful to the crews working throughout the area and appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and cooperation during the recovery.

Until then, please give Kōkeʻe the time and space it needs to recover.

While we at the Lodge are unharmed, our friends and neighbors at Hui o Laka’s historic CCC Camp sustained significant damage during Hurricane Lowell.
