Coming this Fall: Central Oahu Event Center and Mango Street Grill

A welcoming place to celebrate with your ohana in the heart of Wahiawa town at a familiar location – the former Dot’s Wahiawa! The entire space is being revitalized as Central Oahu Event Center (COEC). COEC will include an updated banquet space named “Plantation Ballroom” and full-service restaurant, “Mango Street Grill.” Both entities will include vibrant culinary menu options thoughtfully crafted by our Executive Chef Jim Gillespie, formerly of Sunset Grill, The Plaza Club, 3660 On the Rise, and most recently, Ko’olau Ballrooms & Conference Center. Mango Street Grill is under development, but please join us for Friday Grilling in our parking lot starting Friday, August 27th from 11AM! Soon to come: Dine-at-Home Sunday Dinner Boxes.

The holiday season is just around the corner and we wanted to share a special event coming up at COEC|MSG!

Saturday, November 28th! We are starting off the holiday spirit with a 3-band pre-Christmas Concert featuring Kelvin Sewake and Macky Catania, Gail Mack with Lance Luke, Keith Hiraoka, Bobby Nishida, and special guest Gordon Kim, and with the anchor band Persuasion!

It'll be a beautiful evening of great food, drinks, and entertainment to enjoy with your family and friends as we gear up for the holidays!

We are excited to announce that The Mākaha Sons will perform here on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026!

The legendary contemporary Hawaiian musical group The Mākaha Sons officially marked their 50th anniversary on February 22, 2026, commemorating a golden milestone of preserving and sharing traditional Hawaiian mele and culture since 1976. This celebrated Hawaiian trio have earned over 20 acclaimed albums, numerous Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, multiple Grammy nominations, and induction into the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame. For 50 years, this group has been entertaining Hawaii and throughout the world. Their full and majestic sound mixed with their harmonies will take your breath away. Come sit back, relax, eat, drink, and enjoy the mesmerizing sounds of The Mākaha Sons!

Opening for this special evening is Waialua native, Lance Orillo. A Na Hoku Hanohano award nominee. Lance is recognized for his versatility in the genre of music he performs; from smooth jazz, Hawaiian, contemporary soft rock, and ballads. Lance will take you on an acoustic experience enriched by his smooth relaxing voice.
