When I think about this past year, the first word that comes to mind is overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with joy. Overwhelmed with gratitude. Some days, just overwhelmed (navigating parenthood with a toddler plus owning a small business can be … tough 😅). But day after day, I cannot get over how genuinely grateful I am that we get to connect with all of you while doing what we love.
When we started this business, of course we had big dreams for it. Our main goal was to serve a quality product that made people want to keep coming back for more. On paper, it was creating a job for us. What we hadn’t yet realized was that deep down, what we really wanted was to connect with you all. We wanted each person to leave the window feeling lifted up, encouraged, happier than when they came - to be Hope Filled. It’s more than just making you a drink. It’s getting to be part of your lives and seeing you all go through big moves, new jobs, welcoming littles into your families… And it’s also being there for a pick me up on a hard day, loss, and changes in your life that feel scary. We absolutely love being part of the celebrations and being your support.
So thank you all. Thank you for including us in your lives. Thank you for making us part of your daily routines. Thank you for showing up for us in such big ways. This has been the best first (full time) year of business we could have imagined. And we can’t wait for all the things to come. 🤍
