📍We’re looking for 2 reliable floaters to join our fire prevention team or 1 Flexible shift employee
📍1 for day shifts (5AM–6PM) and
📍1 for overnight (7PM–3AM).
📍10-25 hours a week

🔧 Exhaust Hood Cleaning Technician – Job Description
We specialize in commercial kitchen fire prevention by cleaning exhaust hoods, duct systems, filters, and sometimes fryers in restaurants, nursing homes, and prisons.
This is not a janitorial job. This is high-pressure, labor-intensive, and physically demanding work. You will get dirty. You will sweat. You will go home tired. But you’ll go home with a paycheck and the satisfaction of doing real work that matters
🧗 You’ll climb ladders (up to 30 ft)
🚗 Travel up to 100 miles/day
🔥 Comply with commercial fire codes

🧽 Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Cleaning 12-14 foot exhaust hoods (sometimes 2–3 per location)
• Bending, kneeling, and crawling in tight and greasy areas
• Scraping thick grease buildup using razor-sharp tools and proper technique
• Cleaning fans, ductwork, filters, drip pans, and vents
• Using a 4,000 PSI hot water pressure washer to clean entire exhaust systems
• Unhooking and reconnecting gas lines and fryers (when needed)
• Performing degreasing and detailing under, behind, and around cooking equipment
• Walking 5,000–10,000 steps per shift—be prepared for long hours
• Lifting and carrying hoses, ladders, buckets, and machines
• Safely using chemicals and degreasers with proper PPE
• Working in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
• Taking clear before-and-after photos of every job
• Ensuring sharp tools are cleaned, stored, and safely secured after use

✅ Requirements:
• Age 24+
• Must have a valid driver’s license & your own vehicle the shop is located in Wadesboro (also willing to learn to drive work truck& pull 20-ft trailer)
• Able to lift 25–75 lbs
• You must be able to climb ladders 15-30ft & Not afraid of heights or steep roofs
• Must be OSHA trained(provided)
• Must be professional, well-groomed, and wear uniform + steel toe boots
• Must be a self-learner, able to follow directions

⚠️• SMOKE FREE Environment cigarette's/vape pens etc at all job sites , work truck and shop .

• Paid weekly $16-25 hr based on experience.
